Yesterday was an eventful day.. well,.. started off with me going to work! yeah.. i am this game assistant situated at Millenia Walk to help this couple try and win a beetle. i was paired with team 10 which was a pretty young couple and i kinda befriended them rather easily.

the game is divided into 2 parts. the first part is such that the contestants were instructed to get a list of items with a budget of 26 bucks. Items include any value meal from Yoshinoya, a certain-brand chocolate, an ice tea from coffe club, a citibank brochure, a rotiboy, a burger from carl's jr, a clam chowder from long john silver and a puff of any kind.

for the 1st part, Team 10 which is zaixiang and catherine, didn't come back very fast as did some of the other teams and got me really anxious. they were around overall 5th outta 10.

for the 2nd part, the couple were assigned a chaueffer driving them around with a beetle. they chose a route with 8 puzzles to solve. for example an sms clue would sound like this.. "Tallest building in Singapore." then they have to scurry to the location make me a video call n prove they are at the correct location by showing me the signage of the building using the sony ericsson 3G phone.

it was my first time using 3G technology. wow.. an experience. though accordingly to feedback from catherine, it was realli frustrating to be unable to get reception to make a 3G call at certain locations. well, they ended like 5 or 6th eventually.. Team 6 were the winners of the Beetle.

then me n jm splurged our day's earnings at a Movie and dinner. ate at billy bomber's and watched Goal at Cineleisure. i like the show. prolly also in part due to me being a nufc fan. well,.. i'll say pool fans dun watch lah.. pool got 5th after being edged by nufc. many parts of the movie i feel like shouting but cannot. so uncomfortable. haha..

i'm in such a rush blogging this i hate it. gotta book in much to my reluctance. =( pics of the day found here cya guys..
