   Came back from Brunei on wednesday morning 14 July 2004. yes, i survived the training there. but then it wasn't realli that tough on the signals guys.. we were merely there to support the outfield operations there. like when they need comms at various locations to indent food rations, emergency in case of casualties etc.. However, when we're outfield with them and that includes walking the rifle man's distance, we have a heavier load. we have to bring a signal set. that plus the usual stuff that the usual stuff like food, water, clothes etc.. at least, i'm proud to conquer Mount Biang with the heaviest bag around. haha.. 4 day 3 nights n the 3 nights were all raining heavily. worst was the 2nd night when i was on the top of the ridgelines and it rained the heaviest n longest. resulting in the following day having lotsa deadfalls blocking the way. 
 
   at times, i was so down. so so down that i feel like staying in brunei as permanent staff.. i noe i won't like it there. but there is an impulse. coz i feel that there's nobody in singapore i miss. nobody. sad to say i dun realli miss my family. as for my frens, i reckon i could still keep in contact with them online. i missed being online though. i missed being updated on the latest happenings on the transfer market in the world soccer. i wanna be more updated on my favourite team, Newcastle United too!! so maybe with a laptop and internet access in brunei i'll be able to survive. 
 
   ok, next up we'll count the stuff i lost or spoilt in Brunei. aiyah, i lost my newly-bought-for-brunei watch ! haiz. a bit heart ache la. all my carelessness lor. sianz. i spoilt my slippers. was running around in them when ps wanted to grab me to help him eat his bday combat ration punishment food. i ate la.. but the slipper sacrificed too! Digital camera next. kena water. sianz. then now cannot turn on. so sent for repair. now awaiting call by their technician to inform me to go collect it. thus no pix of brunei for the time being. sianz.

   14th July i came back. mostly did some zzz-ing, online, & unpacking.. 15th July i awoke early. watched the Brazil copa america match. they lost 1-2 to paraguay. fabiano's goal was awesome tho. morning till lunch time i was surfing net n dling movies n songs. went down to bukit merah area to panasonic building to send my digicam for repair. luckily still under warranty ah. else i die sia... went to queensway shopping centre with timothy n eeping to shop. i din spend a cent. though a little attracted to the jeans n t-shirts there. but gotta tighten my belt le. spent too much le.. sat at macdonald's had a cuppa coffee with large fries till 6+pm chit-chatting. then i went down to bugis to meet my fren. 
 
   we had dinner together at Ajisen. then shopped for a gift she wanted to get for her fren. looking at perfumes. she got her fren a polo ralph perfume n i bought 2 perfume samples too. attracted by them lor. not the smell tho. din even try. thinking of maybe starting a collection? haha.. quite costly it'll be i reckon. we walked several places comparing prices etc. then we walked a long way to get a bus ride. frankly, i was realli reluctant to alight. i dunno y.. one of the reasons being no camera to take photo with her. 
 
   i alighted at serangoon mrt. joined up with weiming, timothy, hongye, eeping & our driver of the day darren. he rented the car. went to meet up with ps vincent n his fren. went ktv sang till 3am. then we went geylang. to eat. haa... had to stress that right? haha.. curious.. we had our experience in walking thru the lorongs. from chiobus to aunties prices ranging from 40 bucks to 100+. some realli look gf material lor.. i bet some of them are tempted. haha. weiming was pinched in his nipple as we walked past. haha.. timothy had his hands on the hips of a lady as he negotiates the price with her(and i stress lady coz of the age.), eeping was grabbed. darren was also disturbed. i maintain zero contact with the girls. urgh! :P 
 
   then off we go sending one another home. from bukit batok to jurong to sembawang then finally to my house in amk. i reached home 0545h sia... slept till 1600h today. wow! i thought i see wrongly the time sia when i awoke. frankly did nothing as i stoned n read soccer news online then chatted with a few frens online. army mates asked me out for dinner one but i decided not to. coz i wanna have dinner at ah ma's. let her see me n talk to me. i promise to dedicate more time to her.. :) ok, time for dinner.. ah ma i'm coming...
