I'm really liking reading about positive self help stuff. Life is too short to feel miserable and depressed. It's Friday! Time to cheer up, get off your ass and plan some interesting things into your life!

Here's my summarised version of 10 Rules for a Bold & Daring Life from The Bold Life..

1) Claim Your Dream.
- What are you willing to do to get what you want?

2) Ask, ask and ask.
- Reach out and invite others into your life.

3) Commit to being a more loving person.

4) Spend time alone.
- meditate, pray, journal and exercise = happy

5) Learn from experiences.
- What someone else does is about them, how I react is about me.

6) Show yourself some love.
- You are irreplacable and unrepeatable. You deserve the best in life.

7) Know you are capable.

8) Be adventurous.

9) Rise above fear.

10) Treasure your relationships.

Few weeks back, i was at my granny's watching tv after dinner with the good ol' folks. Feeling like spending more time with them, i stayed on after the ch 8 tv serial which ended at 10pm to catch the news.

At the end of the news programme was a sports news update of last night's champs league highlight and scores. I had known the scores but was still pretty much interested in viewing some highlights. Ah gong was watching it with me..

When Diego Forlan (the Villarreal player) had just seen his powerful shot unfortunately struck the post and rebounded to safety, Ah gong surprised me when he sniggled at his misfortune.

When the action replays were shown from another camera angle, Ah gong left me controlling my urge to laugh out loud when he gave an even bigger reaction with a louder response of "Aiyoh! Hit the post again!"

This is the view from my office floor on Orchard Road. As always, the view seemed more breathe-taking when u see it personally.

I reckon if u zoom it on the photo and see only 2/3 or abt 1/2 of the area a photo captures, it'll be kinda similar to the breathe-taking impact u get when viewing it personally.. i think it's something like losing focus when u look at the big picture all the time.. all the nit-picking details get lost in translation.

this post is me trying to explain why i changed my blog address.. it might change again though.. the reason behind this is becoz singapore is a small place and the impact of a lack-of privacy is somewhat magnified. Being quite a private person(perhaps influenced by someone close?), i only wish to share my thoughts with a selected bunch of pals..

if u r one of them, u've prolly gotten the url via msn or something. there are a couple of ppl who i've dropped.. some of whom i hv chose to forget.. some whom i'm not ready to share my thoughts with.. i apologize for any inconveniences caused..

Currently, the frequency i'm blogging is proposterous(i noe!)anyway.. coz i've been kinda lazy to blog right now.. often i hv a thought and then to the translation of it to a blog entry just doesn't happens.. i'm also procrastinating over designing a new blog layout. might eventually go for something simple.

for updates, i've gotten a decent stable job as a graphic designer. i've joined a soccer league which kicks off in may or june.

first weekend of my official working life and i spent the saturday in an army camp in Clementi for half a day.. on a more positive note, i met up with some old frens.. the other half of the day was pouring.. so kinda had no choice but stayed home..

everyone's kinda busy in their own way now.. bfs, gfs, fiancees, honeymoon, work, ppl who like to slp the whole day away, family ppl, ppl rushing reports to submit to bosses on monday, ppl working hard to finish their assignments etc etc..

i need to find my groove..
