the EPL is so so competitive... 3 games into the season and we alredi hv some fierce competition between Bolton chairman, Phil Gartside, and Middlesbrough chairman, Steve Gibson, for the sore loser of the year award!
Sore sore losers of the year for whining forever over spilt milk and sour grapes...Sore sore Gartside.. defended and strongly backed Sam's "ugly football" at Bolton when Big Sam's in charge at Bolton only to immediately turn around and have a bite at him once he's left.. Ingrate.
Poor Viduka. gave his all for Boro. chose Newcastle for arguably similar contract to Boro's. Gets a blasting from Gibson. Wake up! Who wants to stay at hopeless Boro when a bigger and more ambitious club like the magpies come knocking.. & Oh Puh..leeeze.. Just Mark Viduka & Aiyegbeni Yakubu trumps mido, aliadiere, tuncay sanli & lee dong gook add together anyday..
These two had better learn how to gracefully kiss their stars farewell next time.. learn a trick or two to at least thank your ex-colleagues who toiled hard to ensure u don't get relegated, alrite?
Thankfully, sweetness never came any sweeter than a resounding 3-1 win at the Reebok stadium for Newcastle United against Bolton..
Pity that Boro escaped flukishly with a late equaliser for 2-2 at the Riverside after Mark Viduka appeared to have scored a wonderful winning goal against them.

Newcastle United manager Sam Allardyce has described his former chairman at Bolton Wanderers, Phil Gartside, as 'sad and bitter'.
Allardyce spent eight years at the Reebok Stadium before leaving the club just before the end of last season, and Gartside has been less than complimentary about the current Magpies boss since appointing Sammy Lee as Bolton's new manager.

If Allardyce had needed any extra incentive to make this a special day, he would have got it by listening to Radio Five Live on the team coach, on which his former chairman Phil Gartside delivered another withering post mortem on his reign at the Reebok. The divorce between these two is getting so nasty that, by comparison, the Tarrants' separation is beginning to look amicable.
Gartside surprisingly hinted beforehand that, despite their high Premier League finishes under Allardyce, he would be happy just to see Bolton stay up and if there are many more displays like this, Lee will soon be reintroducing backs-to-the-wall football. As for Newcastle fans, they have not been happier since the day Kevin Keegan arrived as their manager.
It was, of course, also a managerial catchweight contest between Allardyce and his former assistant Sammy Lee. Big Sam against Little Sam and, as they say in boxing, a good big 'un always beats a good little 'un. So it proved here.

Have a major presentation to give next week.. held in the lecture hall with 3 classes of students plus 3 lecturers as audience. finally finish doing up this flash file for the presentation. phew..
next up is to program a game call pong.. sigh.. realli endless and hectic this semester sia.. another 2 month+ i am going back singapore alredi.. body feel so battered.. almost every wkend i stay home n do work..

just watched Simpsons The Movie.. as marge and homer gets back together happily ever after again after all the ruckus homer created, it just brings back the notion that love conquers all..
had this impulse that engulfs me as i miss her while she's in amsterdam for a couple of days. so i wrote a mini poem for her.. well, absence sure makes my heart grow fonder..

i really believe she is the one for me.. the one thing that convince me that we're meant for each other is the fact that each of us are slowly and willingly changing to be a better person/partner for each other. we both definitely hv made one another a better person.. that's what i've always believe a true couple will be like.
meanwhile, have always been reading a lot of blogs.. even in the midst of rushing assignments.. coz i felt i needa break at intervals.. refreshes the mind but greatly slows me down.. i've noticed some blogs(some fren's) i read are so downright depressing. why? it's as if they're dying.. be it emotionally of physically. i just think it's such an exaggeration.
i think that depressing entries shouldn't be posted. it's something that ain't good to read back one day and think back upon. it's unhealthy. i dunno why there're so many pessimists around that likes to reminisce about their unhappy past.
personally, i think it's fine to keep them as a memory. but what is undesirable and yet happens most of the time is that you wallow in self-pity as u read the depressing posts. why choose to hold on to the unhappy moments and think that it's what you're born to be like when you could build something positive in the time u spent self-pitying?
i believe u hv a choice.. nope, the choice to make is not about choosing to be happy or sad. everyone chooses to be happy. but not everyone chose to be brave enough to want it enough.
