Just came back from the above gathering. it's been ten years already.. *sigh* so long le.. hmmmm... nice memories growing up rekindled..
ZQ did up a mini booklet for us.. each had a copy to bring home.. it was nice reminiscing & recalling the funny moments.. the matches.. the years we grow up.. and we used to hv award ceremonies.. haha.. look.. my name appeared.. after 1998, we kinda fell apart though.. due to many of us being enlisted into army etc.. We chatted lots over dinner at seoul gardens and ate our fill.. i'm impressed by their memories of past matches.. i, in contrast, can't remember many games.. i believe in playing for the moment, for the company of my frens.. all angst, anguish, bitterness translate oni on the pitch.. no hard feelings brought off the pitch. at least not for long.. this is us with our super big bellies after eating our fill! pretty sad that that's all for the crowd.. there should hv been more ppl loh.. hope we can hv another gathering sometime again.. prolly for a match! haha.. i'm so hoping for another goal.. hmmm...

gone with green and back with the pink.. i've ORD-ed finally.. this after a long painful 2 yrs and 4 months of whining, moaning, groaning.. haha.. it's over.. now i can sit back n luff at the chao recruits shaved botak and all liao.. kekeke.. This is my proud certificate of service.. hee.. i'm one of two signallers with the outstanding performance and conduct.. the other being tim. i heard from them that most of them got at most very good.. thanks perry.. :P i'm so damn broke yet my freaky lil' eye have to be so sharp and catch sight of something to burn my pocket further again.. oh darn.. i'll see about it.. hmmm... comments anyone?

Sorry for a lack of updates.. can't blog in the company of frens.. juz can't concentrate 'nuff.. busy editting the pix too.. did lotsa christmas shopping.. lots n lots of pressies.. not received though.. haha.. mostly given out.. dunno why this year i feel the joy of giving.. gave every colleague working closely a pressie.. though i can't afford an expensive gift, i believe it's the thought that weighs more.. michelle and i got a shirt from topman for dad.. this is the 1st time i ever gave him a gift on x'mas.. handmade card to boot too.. being a VM has taught me well.. i'm beginning to like making these crafts.. got animal cups for my cousins, softtoy and bag for sj, chocolates for my colleagues alex, dawn, cedric, dyson, weilin, graphic team & also for my gift exchange partner.. most of them didn't expect anything from me and were suprised.. some even go to the extent of returning the favour too.. so i got one or two gifts in return too.. simple, not of high-value but i realli appreciate them.. my gift exchange partner gave me something realli 'huh?!'.. the mini basketball set. hmmm.. perhaps she thought i'm a young young child.. something like 7 years old? kekeke.. thanks sj for the winkler, wl for the wormie keychain & lollipop, dyson for the skateboard keychain and effort in self packaging it into a brown paperbag, aunt elsie & family for the tees, michelle for contributing to the cost of my new bag.(which also happens to be my x'mas gift for myself..) But most and for most for the company i got from jm & kp who stayed over for the 2 nights..(thus explaining why i blogged so late..)
i'm so blessed for the company, gifts & all..

Arrgghhh... my pc is down.. haven been online for 2 nights le(thurs & fri).. currently blogging via my laptop.. darn thing is my pix to blog are inside the pc.. haiz.. cannot even get into the os.. same old problem with the hardware.. this is DARNZ.. looks like i'll juz hv to make do with the limited pix i hv currently in my digicam n camera phone for now..

When u think of christmas, what are u reminded of? is the snow flakes? hanging red socks at fireplace? red and white candy sticks in the shape umbrella handles? the fat old bearded guy? reindeer? snowball with carrot nose? elves? hmmm... so many link hor?
i've always loved christmas. i am not a christian believer. i juz loved christmas becos it reminded me of cold christmas night of lovely white snow and green pine trees with light gentle christmas carols sung by a choir made up of cute lil' blonde 10-yr-old girls.. (No... i'm no paedophile!!! =P) i like the gift exchanging part too..(gift for colleague in company gift exchange below) bringing with it the chance for u to actually do something special/romantic and showing ur love for ur close ones.. much less mercenarian than the ang pows of CNY.. talk abt CNY.. i've been busy at work recently spray painting, cutting, pasting(not the pc kinda.. more the scissors and blue kinda..) and decorating lanterns. yeah,.. christmas feeling haven totally sunken in yet n i'm already preparing for CNY.. Oh My Goodness.. (be prepared to see lanterns in topshop windows). oh yah.. i did my first bit of graphic design work(pic below) for a company today.. heh.. though it was just for an internal game event, i enjoyed the experience.. i've learnt that i need snap-ur-fingers kinda inspiration. coz timing is super short.. kinda stress too..(company ain't gonna wait for me to take one whole day to design something out..)
somehow or rather.. i dunno how chocolates become associated with christmas too.. hmmm.. to me, they're linked. but i dunno y.. but i like chocolates anyway.. got some to share between me n michelle.. hee.. not coz of craving but coz christmas reminded me of them.. it came to me like..."how can i hv christmas without chocolates?" which is the same effect it is to u like a CNY without ang pows..
But dun blame me if u gain a few pounds.. chocolates are worthed it anyway.. =) hee

Sunday.. morning was soccer.. but the not usual basketball court soccer.. field soccer today.. in my rush and prolly due to a lack of sleep, i forgotten to bring my wallet out. still managed to enter pasir ris camp to play the soccer match.. the make shift team of ours lost 1-3.. urgh.. not enough teamwork and chemistry.. Returned to amk and had lunch nearby my place with kp n jm.. kp went home to wash up.. me too.. then we met up again for ktv session at bishan. i brought michelle along.. this is the first time she's going ktv. stil dare not sing. well,.. maybe it takes some time la.. she claims she can't read the chinese words.. cannot be that bad lah her chinese.. rite? we had rencai, weisian, kp, me, jm, michelle and dn. sang our hearts out from 2-7pm.. no voice liao =P
had dinner at s11 near j8. felt tired.. realli tired and went home soon after. weekend ended.. back to work again tomolo.. but it was a nice weekend of catching up.. hope we still can get together when i come back from aussie for holidays.. ;)
am i realli gonna miss my frens like hell? hmmm.. maybe it hadn't sunk in yet.. lotsa catchup to do before i fly.. busy busy busy..

Saturday evening i went for a secondary school gathering.... location Esplanande... Via Mar Restaurant and Wine Bar.. personnels invited 5A, B & C of PHS1999.. Organized by Sean. realli nice to see some familiar faces.. hmmm... though i was a transfer student and didn't know many of them well... heee ;) These are the early birds.. the guys and the 4 georgeous babes.. Managed to mingle around a bit and got to noe some names whom i've never heard of during sec school days.. i was pretty low profile, shy, quiet and all.. i feel i'm always someone whom takes a little bit of time to melt into a friendship.. i likened it to a candle base. base is small and cannot stand very stable. but as it warms to the flame, melts a little and roots itself to the friendship firmly.. Then slowly the crowd got bigger.. here's some of the later-comers.. 3 guys(Sijie, Shawn & Chiyat) and 2 gals(Limin? & Casmin).. Here are all the babes that had some of the guys drooling all night over.. I was fortunate to have some pix taken with some of my ex-classmates.. Amelia(poly classmate too!!), Joyce then Huiling.. I swear i was still shy with them.. held my breathe for this mini photoshoot.. hee.. ;P Took some photos of the decor of the place.. ambience and all not bad..
nothing beats seeing old frens and catching up..

Friday started early in the morning at orchard.. had to take photographs of all the shop fronts/windows of Dorothy Perkins, Fox, TopShop, TopMan, Max Studio, Warehouse & Karen Millen along orchard road. I was so early many of the shops ain't even open.. haha.. all the better.. then after taking the pix i can go slack one corner while earning hourly pay.. kekeke..
After taking photos from all shop windows, i went to BK for a good breakfast read.. ordered a breakfast meal of course.. while reading, RuiFeng from 1GDS HQ company walked in. didn't chat much coz he was with company. prolly his gf.. heh.. carried on my reading.. turned out to be an enjoyable read and breakfast. i enjoyed the 2 hours at BK. loved being able to read n slowly drinking my morning coffee and not being disturbed by large crowds or staff clearing my table..
After the breakfast read at BK, i went Borders. walked around a bit. saw this Asterix & The Falling Sky. new book! i've read all their earlier comics be4. mum used to borrow them all for me at the library. we'd go library every saturday morning.. saw this lady reading it wholesale there and decided to follow suit.. haha.. cheapo ppl think alike.. interesting.. finished it in ard 15 mins. guess only rich or ardent collectors would bear to splurge 30 over bucks and purchase it..
Got a new toy.. heh.. cheap sale mah.. can't resist.. kekeke.. one for me one for michelle. heh.. anyway i won't ever wear 2 of them together...Spent the rest of my day from around 1230h till 2000h at TopMan Wisma as sales assistant. due to the festive season, the office ppl need to support also.. looks like every friday i would be at an outlet.. whether it's at wisma or not is not confirmed.. but unlikely to be the same lah..
Oh yah, met Lynn with her gf shopping while i was on shop duty.. got to noe that she has changed her old number. coz her sim card spoil.. i love meeting old friends whom i haven met for a while.. somehow it's good to see how they are now.. talk abt frens, i love making new frens too.. made a few new frens or rather fellow colleagues.. they're all pretty funny n helpful ppl.. felt a lil' bad leaving be4 them.. but then.. i woke up earlier loh.. so... i forgave myself.. haha.. Reached home, fell asleep early.. after bathing, dinner n tv lah.. same old routine..

Have to make do with another short post here.. so i can at least console myself that i've blogged and not dragged it longer. it's already 0130h le lei.. i should hv been sleeping long ago.. especially when tonite i went for night soccer with the guys again.. yay!
brief update on the day.. work work work.. haha.. work till 1924h step outta office. then rush home change into soccer attire then off for soccer. play till 10pm. froma rd 8+pm.. skipped dinner. enjoyed ourselves with our moves and passing again.. supper at jalan kayu prata. then off home to bath.
Settled a long chain of email with swanston regarding aussie lodging.. and also coordinated with ben regarding some lodging and air tix issue.. headaches caused by the stuff to settle for aussie studies are slowly clearing up.. yay! =)
sleeping now.. photographer for tomolo.. going to shoot many shop windows tomolo along orchard road.. yay.. slack day at work.. =P i love my job.. juz dislikes the pay structure.. yurks.. i love updating my excel concerning my daily working hours and pay earned so far.. need to chart my camera acquisition process.. heh.. if not enough must piah OT liao..
FX9 come quick... longing for u... Currently enjoying reading The Client by Joh Grisham on the bus to work everyday.. ;)

Over the weekend, did a lot of shopping.. no wonder my route march trainings in army no kick to me.. coz i often do route march while shopping one.. oni less load lah.. not rich 'nuff to hv a load while shopping.. is it a occupational illness? i noticed this mannequin display.. looks ok at first sight..
then...
No SHOES??? trousers with toes showing??? OMG...
then we passed by topshop. can't help but notice 'The Ho Ho Ho!'.. this is the design of the underwear which i put on the wrong way for the mannequin n got teased lah.. santa luffing at me? could be man! he's evil.. satanic.. that explains the red suit.. Oh yah... this is my cover during my work time in the office. many a time, in the office, i would be very unoccupied while the executives do planning or go for meetings.. leaving me to do random chores here n there.. which i more often than not finish doing in a short time. then i could sense that dyson scared he or me get into trouble coz i seem too unoccupied liao.. so i did always hv some photoshop or freehand workspace open n will fiddle ard.. this is one of my covers to hide behind.
heh.. ain't i tactical? Ooops.. did my cuppa coffee give me away? hope not.. *winks*
